ABOUT ME

“I have always been fascinated by the natural world and its processes. We all return to the earth eventually and I think with that, brings a lot of complicated feelings. I know the unknown of after death certainly evokes a feeling in me that’s hard to place. I work to express these feelings through a variety of techniques. I have a broad artistic interest but I would primarily define myself as a designer, illustrator, and printmaker. My work typically involves hand drawn elements and printing techniques such as relief, intaglio, and screenprinting. I typically opt for bright colors and bold lines. It’s perhaps due to my original career plans as a wildlife veterinarian that I’ve developed this fascination, or perhaps it was always supposed to be this way?”
